We are seeking a passionate Childcare Cook to join our dedicated team at Kidz Ink Long Day Care Centre in Campbelltown, NSW. As a full-time Childcare Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering nutritious meals for the children in our care.

What you'll be doing
n
Plan and prepare a balanced, nutritious menu that caters to the dietary requirements of the children
n
Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals and snacks daily
n
Ensure all food preparation, storage and serving areas meet strict health and safety standards
n
Liaise with the Centre Director and parents to accommodate any special dietary needs
n
Maintain detailed records of food preparation, inventory and ordering
n
Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean, organised and well-stocked
n
What we're looking for
n
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery or catering
n
Experience working as a cook in an early childhood education and care setting
n
Minimum of 6-12 months experience in childcare cooking is required
n
Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety and hygiene practices
n
Excellent time management and organisational skills
n
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
n
Genuine passion for providing high-quality care and nutrition to young children
n
Preferred Working with Children Check, Food Safety Supervisor certification, and Food Handler Certificate
n
