Role Overview

We are seeking a Network Architecture Lead to drive the design, governance and transformation of enterprise network platforms across complex Data Centre, Hybrid Cloud and Critical Infrastructure environments.

This role is accountable for delivering secure, resilient and scalable network outcomes that enable business continuity, cloud adoption, digital transformation and operational excellence. Success is measured through improvements in availability, security posture, operational resilience, service performance and transformation readiness, rather than traditional network device metrics alone.

You will own architecture outcomes across data centre networking, hybrid cloud connectivity, network virtualisation, security integration and network transformation initiatives. The role combines strategic architecture leadership with hands‑on technical governance, supporting large-scale migration and modernisation programs across enterprise and mission‑critical environments.

Operating across multiple stakeholders, vendors and technology domains, you will establish architecture standards, drive network modernisation roadmaps and ensure connectivity platforms support evolving business and operational requirements.

Authority Model: This role holds delegated authority to establish enterprise network standards, approve solution architectures, govern technical debt remediation, prioritise network modernisation initiatives and drive cross-functional resolution of risks impacting business-critical connectivity services.

What You Will Do

1) Own Enterprise Connectivity Outcomes

- Own end-to-end network architecture outcomes spanning data centre, hybrid cloud and enterprise connectivity services.
- Develop connectivity roadmaps supporting business growth, cloud adoption and operational resilience.
- Ensure network platforms align with enterprise architecture principles, cyber security requirements and future demand.
- Establish governance frameworks that improve accountability, consistency and decision-making across network services.
- Lead architecture and design activities across Data Centre, Cisco ACI, Nexus, Azure and hybrid connectivity environments.




- Define scalable and secure connectivity solutions supporting modern enterprise workloads.
- Drive network simplification, standardisation and automation initiatives.
- Provide architecture leadership during migration, deployment, testing and operational transition activities.
- Support large-scale technology refresh and transformation programs.

3) Enable Resilience, Security & Service Continuity

- Design highly available network services supporting mission-critical business operations.
- Establish network segmentation, security and access control standards.
- Ensure connectivity platforms support operational resilience and business continuity objectives.
- Drive proactive identification and remediation of network risks, architectural constraints and technical debt.
- Establish architecture standards across Data Centre, Cloud, SDN and Virtual Network domains.
- Govern integration between networking, security, cloud and infrastructure platforms.
- Lead design assurance reviews and architecture governance forums.
- Ensure network environments remain scalable, secure and operationally sustainable throughout their lifecycle.

5) Lead Complex Migration & Modernisation Programs

- Lead network migration and transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.
- Translate technical dependencies and risks into business-focused remediation strategies.
- Drive collaboration between network, cloud, compute, storage, security and operations teams.
- Ensure transformation initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes while maintaining operational stability.
