About the Role
n
Working within our Mental Health Inpatient Unit, you'll play an key role in supporting patients through their recovery journey by delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
n
You'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to:
n
n
- Conduct comprehensive mental, physical and psychosocial assessments.
n
- Develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
n
- Provide therapeutic nursing care in a safe and supportive inpatient environment.
n
- Build positive relationships with patients, families and the wider healthcare team.
n
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, compassion and continuous improvement.
n
n
You'll be supported by an experienced Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurses, Team Leaders and Shift Leaders who are committed to helping you succeed.
n
About You
n
We're looking for nurses who are passionate about mental health and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
n
You will have:
n
n
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
n
- A minimum of two years' postgraduate nursing experience.
n
- Previous experience in a Mental Health setting.
n
- Sound understanding of qualified nursing standards and scope of practice.
n
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making and care planning skills.
n
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management abilities.
n
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care and recovery-focused practice.
n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster.
n
