Brown & Turner Legal is seeking a motivated Junior Solicitor with approximately 1–3 years' post-admission experience (PAE) to join our legal team.

n

We are looking for someone who is fluent in both English and Chinese, motivated to develop their legal career and keen to gain hands-on experience across a range of legal matters.

n

About the Role

n

The successful candidate will work closely with our solicitors & team and be involved in a variety of legal work, including:

n

- Assisting with the conduct of client matters
n
- Drafting legal correspondence and documents
n
- Communicating with clients, counsel and other legal professionals
n
- Assisting with court matters and case preparation
n
- General file and matter management
n

n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who:

n

n
- Is an Australian-admitted solicitor with approximately 1–3 years' PAE
n
- Is fluent in both English and Chinese
n
- Has strong written and verbal communication skillsIs organised, reliable and professional
n
- Has solid attention to detail
n
- Is willing to learn and develop their practical legal skills
n
- Is comfortable communicating directly with clients

Experience

n

While previous experience in a law firm or legal environment will be highly regarded, extensive previous legal experience is not required.

n

We are particularly interested in junior solicitors within their first to third year of practice who are fluent in Chinese and English and are eager to develop their skills.

n

We recognise that many practical aspects of legal practice can be taught, and training, guidance and support will be provided to the right candidate.
