We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who's just as comfortable behind CAD software as they are in the workshop. Someone who's naturally curious, enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges, and gets excited by designing, testing, refining and improving products from concept through to production.

This isn't a role where your designs stay on the screen. You'll work closely with prototypes, production teams, suppliers and customers to bring cutting-edge products to life and continuously improve existing designs.

What you'll be doing

- Design and develop mechanical products and components using SolidWorks.
n
- Build, test, modify and refine prototypes through hands‐on engineering.
n
- Pull products apart, understand how they work, and engineer smarter, stronger and more efficient solutions.
n
- Take projects from concept through design, validation, manufacture and launch.
n
- Work alongside production, quality, procurement and suppliers to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable and commercially viable.
n
- Investigate product issues, identify root causes and implement engineering improvements.
n




- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, quality and reliability.

We're looking for someone who

n

n
- Has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory)
n
- Enjoys both technical design work and getting hands‐on with products and vehicles.
n
- Thinks like a problem solver and loves figuring out how things work.
n
- Has proven and proficient experience with CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
n
- Can balance creativity with practical engineering solutions.
n
- Communicates well and enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams.
n
- CPEng and RPEQ accreditation or eligibility (mandatory)
n
- Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same.
