Tasks and Responsibilities

- determining software andhardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
n
- responding to inquiries aboutsoftware and hardware problems
n
- adapting existing programs tomeet users' requirements
n
- installing and downloadingappropriate software
n
- ensuring effective use ofapplications and equipment
n
- designing and maintainingwebsites
n
- repairing and replacingperipheral equipment such as terminals, printers and modems
n
- may work in a call centre

Requirements

- AQF Associate Degree, AdvancedDiploma or Diploma
n
- At least three years ofrelevant experienceand/or relevant vendor certification
n
- Experience in telephone-basedIT Support/operations
n
- Relevant Industrycertifications would be highly regarded
n
- Ability to resolve issues asthey arise and provide effective solutions
n
- Employer Sponsored Visa.
n
- Permanent Residency (PR)pathway after 3 years of employment.
