The Governance and Risk Office is responsible for the department's governance, risk management, business continuity, and priorities and delivery frameworks; and providing secretariat support for the department's executive committees. Working in the Governance and Risk office presents opportunities for qualified and personal development, including observing and participating in departmental operations, observing decision-making at the most senior levels, and exposure to a broad range of matters and processes.
The department is entering an exciting stage of our risk maturity journey, with the implementation of the PACE delivery framework. This framework, and the business planning processes that underpin it, will provide a great opportunity for risk management to become further embedded in the work practices of the department and for the Risk Adviser to undertake a key role in providing strategic advice and assurance to the senior executive.
