We’re looking for an experienced Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy team. We service and repair a wide range of heavy vehicles including trucks, trailers, plant and fleet vehicles.
About the Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Engine, drivetrain, brake and suspension repairs
- Electrical and hydraulic repairs
- Completing repair orders and job documentation
- Maintaining a protected and tidy work environment
- Working closely with foremen and the wider workshop team
We have opportunities available in our workshop, field service/breakdown team, and afternoon shift, with positions available to suit different experience levels and preferences.
What We’re Looking For
- Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- Current driver’s licence (HR licence an advantage)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pride in the quality of your work
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
