About the role

We're looking for a Technical Operations Specialist to own the systems and automation that keep our business running — and to make them meaningfully better.

This isn't a help desk role. You'll sit between operations, marketing and finance, working out where manual effort is being burned and building the integrations, automations and reporting that remove it. If you like untangling a messy process and replacing it with something that just works, you'll enjoy this.

What you'll do

- Administer and improve our core business systems — ERP, e-commerce, CRM and the tools that connect them
- Design and build automations that eliminate repetitive manual work across ordering, fulfilment, reporting and customer service
- Apply AI tooling practically: document processing, data extraction, content workflows, internal assistants — with a clear eye on what actually delivers value versus what's a novelty
- Own integrations between platforms, including API and middleware connections,

and keep them stable
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards so teams have numbers they trust
- Troubleshoot system issues end to end, from data quality problems to broken syncs
- Work with the Operations Manager to document processes in Trainual and train teams so improvements stick after you've moved on to the next thing
- Work with external vendors, developers and agencies to scope and deliver technical projects

What we’re looking for

- 1+ years in a technical operations, systems administration, business analyst or similar hands-on role
- Experience administering at least one major ERP or e-commerce platform
- Demonstrated experience building automations and integrations between systems
- Solid data skills — advanced spreadsheets at minimum; SQL, Python or scripting is a real advantage
- Comfortable working with APIs, CSV imports/exports and data mapping
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions, and explain technical constraints to non-technical people
- Self-directed, with the judgement to prioritise the work that matters

Nice to have

- Experience with NetSuite, Shopify, or comparable platforms
- Familiarity with automation platforms or workflow tooling
- Practical experience applying LLMs and AI tools in a business context
- Background in retail, wholesale, apparel or supply chain

What we offer

- Genuine autonomy over how systems are built and run
- Real scope to shape the technical direction of a growing business
