Senior Traffic Engineer | Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne

We’re partnering with a growing traffic team to appoint one Senior Traffic Engineer to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the east coast.

This is a hands-on role combining traffic staging and temporary traffic management design with real project delivery involvement. You’ll be trusted to lead packages, contribute at tender stage, and work closely with site teams to ensure traffic solutions are practical, protected, and buildable.

Responsibilities

- Leading traffic staging and temporary traffic management design
- Providing traffic inputs during pre-contracts and tenders
- Working alongside delivery teams to set up traffic strategies on live projects
- Engaging directly with clients and site teams
- Mentoring junior engineers and helping shape team capability

Qualifications / Experience

- 10+ years experience in traffic engineering
- Strong knowledge of traffic management, staging, signals and network operations
- Consulting experience with contractor exposure, or contractor-side background
- AutoCAD and SIDRA proficiency
- PWZTMP (NSW) and/or TMD (QLD) accreditation




- Chartered or working towards chartership preferred
