Due to continued business growth and future expansion plan, we are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our team.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Manage the daily operation of the retail store to ensure efficient workflow, appropriate

n

staffing levels and a consistently high standard of customer service.

n

Determine the range of fresh produce, grocery items and specialty products to be stocked, taking into account seasonal availability, customer demand, market trends and sales

n

performance.

n

Monitor inventory levels, arrange stock replenishment, coordinate deliveries with

n

suppliers, and ensure the freshness, quality and effective stock rotation of perishable

n

products while minimising stock loss and wastage.

n

Negotiate with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing and delivery schedules to

n

ensure adequate stock and competitive retail pricing.

n

Develop pricing strategies and coordinate promotional activities, including seasonal

n

specials, in-store displays and marketing initiatives to increase sales.

n

Maintain accurate records of stock movements,



purchasing activities, sales performance

n

and other operational data.

n

Prepare and monitor store budgets, review operating expenses and sales results, and

n

recommend measures to improve profitability.

n

Recruit, train, supervise and roster retail staff, monitor staff performance and ensure

n

customer service standards are consistently maintained.

n

Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints relating to products and services in a

n

timely and professional manner.

n

Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements, food safety standards and

n

company policies, including the protected handling and storage of fresh produce.

n

Coordinate merchandising and product displays to optimise product presentation,

n

enhance the customer shopping experience and maximise sales opportunities.

n

Identify opportunities to improve retail operations and implement business initiatives

n

that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and overall business

n

performance

n

Skills and Experience

n

A relevant qualification in Business, Retail Management or a related discipline, or

n

equivalent relevant industry experience, will be highly regarded.

n

At least one year of recent experience in a retail management or supervisory role.

n

Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management and merchandising.

n

Experience in staff supervision, rostering and team leadership.

n

Sound communication and customer service skills.

n

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

n

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
