Our client is currently seeking an experienced couple to manage their busy community store in an Aboriginal Community in WA. This is an excellent opportunity to experience community life for a couple looking for a chance to work together in a spectacular environment.

The Roles

n

Store Managers

n

Reporting to Community Directors and Financial Controller, the Store Managers will manage & oversee all operations including:

n

n
- Stock management including stock-takes, ordering, deliveries
n
- Fuel supply and management
n
- Counter serving & general customer service
n
- Store administration, data & accounts management
n
- Overseeing a small takeaway & catering kitchen
n
- Training & managing staff
n

n

The Requirements

n

n




- Previous store manager experience essential (either in community store or roadhouse)
n
- Previous experience working in remote locations (e.g. mining town or in an outback store / roadhouse) preferred
n
- Excellent organisational skills and punctuality
n
- Adaptable approach, positive attitude and a willingness to learn essential
n

The Rewards

- Annual salary package is on offer including an annual travel allowance.

- Rental allowance is provided.

- Use of an excellent fully furnished 3 bedroom house.

- 6 weeks annual leave.

A salary review will be conducted on successful completion of 3 month probation.
