Working alongside an experienced kitchen team, you will gain hands‐on experience across all sections of the kitchen while learning the standards and techniques required in a busy contemporary restaurant.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting chefs with daily preparation and service
n
- Preparing ingredients to a high standard
n
- Learning and developing cooking techniques
n
- Assisting with pasta, sauces, stocks, desserts and general preparation
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workstation
n
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
n
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
n
- Showing a willingness to learn and take direction
n
- Maintaining consistency and attention to detail
n

About you

n

n
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not essential
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or currently undertaking one is highly regarded
n




- A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality
n
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
n
- Ability to work as part of a team
n
- Willingness to learn and develop
n
- Ability to work calmly in a busy kitchen workplace
