A Outback QLD hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 17/06/2026 to 14/10/2026.

Duration: 17/06/2026 – 14/10/2026 (sessions: 17/06–24/06, 15/07–24/07, 15/09–23/09, 07/10–14/10)

Rate: $2600.00/day

- Hospital provides accident & emergency, outpatients, acute ward pharmacy, primary care and long stay/respite care services.
- Town population ~400; key industries gas and timber; rural town near Carnarvon Gorge in Maranoa region of Queensland.
- Duties: work in Medical Practice Monday – Friday 9 – 5 pm with a one‑hour lunch break. Practices use Best Practice software and are staffed by a practice nurse and admin officer. Ward rounds each morning 8 – 9 am at MPHS. On‑call after hours and weekends required.

Candidates must be registered with AHPRA and have the right to work in Australia.
