Goodwin Aged Care is looking for a reliable and caring Cleaner to join our team. You'll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming setting for our residents, while supporting laundry services when required.

About the Role

n

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Providing high-quality cleaning services across resident rooms, public areas and other designated spaces.
n
- Completing scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
n
- Supporting laundry activities, including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing linen and clothing as required.
n
- Following infection prevention and control, WHS and organisational procedures.
n
- Reporting incidents and maintenance issues promptly.
n
- Treating residents, families and colleagues with dignity, respect and professionalism.
n
- Working independently while contributing positively to the wider team.
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who has:

n

n
- Experience in cleaning, preferably in aged care, healthcare, hotels or similar environments.
n
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safe cleaning practices.
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
n
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- The ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team.
n
- A positive, respectful and flexible approach to working with older people.
n

n

Experience operating cleaning equipment such as polishers, scrubbers, carpet shampooers or pressure cleaners is desirable.

n

Qualification (Not Mandatory)

n

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
