The Role
- Undertake routine Preventative Maintenance activities, to maintain reliability of plant and equipment
- Respond to machine downtime events with haste, requiring fault finding/diagnosis and repairs
- Complete daily shift handover reports in collaboration with your team of fitters to communicate to the business
- Supervising, assisting, and mentoring other Maintenance team members
- Planning and installation of new plant and equipment projects
- Provide immediate responses and trouble-shooting expertise to emergency work orders/ break downs as required
- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the Maintenance team, including maintaining punctuality
- Participate in further training required by Hazeldenes
About you
- Relevant trade qualifications as a Qualified Fitter & Turner, Certificate III Engineering / Mechanical trade
- Experience supervising and mentoring tradesmen in a production workplace
- Sound problem solving techniques/ ability and mechanical aptitude
- Utilization of a CMMS and Microsoft suite (advantageous, but not essential)
- Ability to work both autonomously unsupervised as well within a team environment
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures
- Forklift License (advantageous, but not essential)
- EWP License (advantageous, but not essential)
- Current Driver’s license
