Want a civil job where you actually get your afternoons and weekends back? We're looking for a hands-on Civil Labourer to join a Local Government team.
You'll be part of the crew keeping roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure in top shape - and yes, you'll get a 9-day fortnight , so every second week comes with a cheeky extra day off.
What's in it for you?
- $36 per hour + Super
- 6:30am - 3:30pm - early starts, early knock-offs!
- Monday to Friday - NO weekends
- 9-day fortnight - hello long weekends!

What will you be doing?
You'll be getting stuck into a variety of civil works, including:
- Formwork and concreting - footpaths, kerbs, gutters and pits
- Bitumen repairs and road restoration
- Pipe laying,
trenching and backfilling
- Setting up traffic control and keeping worksites safe
- General site clean-up and labouring duties
- Pitching in wherever the crew needs a hand
We're looking for:
- White Card - essential
- MR Licence or higher - highly desirable
- civil, road construction or drainage experience
- Dogman ticket - highly desirable
- Roller ticket - highly desirable
- Strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Someone who takes pride in doing the job properly and safely
