About the role

- Be the first point of contact for Council, delivering excellent customer service across phone, in-person and online channels.
- Resolve enquiries efficiently while building positive relationships with the community and staff.
- Manage cashiering, receipting, reconciliations and daily banking activities accurately.
- Provide administrative and library support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and always ensuring a welcoming environment.

What we're looking for

- Experience delivering high-quality customer service, ideally within local government or a similar environment.
- Strong multitasking, time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage enquiries across multiple channels.
- Excellent communication and computer skills, with confidence using office systems and technology.
- A positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of the role, including payments processing, administration and library services.
- Full Australian working rights, drivers license and Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one).
