ABOUT SANS BEAST : 2026 + BEYOND

We are Melbourne born + based (Brunswick HQ), and have been building our world since we established in May 2017. Sans Beast simply means ‘without beast’. We are a brand that believes animals should not be exploited + suffer for our fashion choices. We’re PETA certified, we use responsibly sourced materials that have a significantly lower impact on the environment than animal based leathers + we’re always keeping our eye on the future of material innovation, within our market price segment.

We slowed things down in late 2025 to recalibrate our brand + business - and have spent the last few months working on our petite renaissance.Recruiting for this role is part of that blooming.

ABOUT YOU

Firstly, you’ll be comfortable in a small business where you can flip between autonomous + team work.You’ll be responsible for bringing the Sans Beast brand to life across all social platforms. You’ll be a highly organised individual + a compelling storyteller, both with words + visuals. You’ll have a creative fashion eye, excellent copywriting skills + a keen interest in working with a responsible, ethical business.You’ll work closely with Cathryn (founder), gaining clarity of the aesthetic + ethical intention of the brand as you build the plans for both paid + organic posts. Our ethos will resonate with you – a fashion brand that is centred around style without using animal products. You’ll relish the opportunity to tell the brand story + the challenge of building resonance across Australia + internationally.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR WEEK

Your week will be wide-ranging, however this is an overview of your responsibilities at Sans Beast. We believe in the power of creativity + value those with the confidence to show initiative + action, bringing ideas to life.

- Owning the content calendar across Instagram + TikTok, Pinterest + Facebook
- Planning, shooting,



editing 'lo fi' photo + video content - eg. product, lifestyle, UGC-style + founder-led formats.
- Editing short-form video (Reels/TikTok): cuts, captions, sound + pacing
- Writing on-brand copy for captions + community responses
- Managing day-to-day publishing, scheduling + community management
- Identifying + coordinating UGC and micro-influencer/creator partnerships
- Supporting social ads with creative assets
- Tracking channel performance + using insights to shape what comes next
- You’ll have access to (the brilliant) online training with Ecommerce Equation - learning all the tips + tricks of digital marketing
- Monitor social media accounts + engage with our community on DM’s + comments
- Work with team on ensuring website, emails + socials speak with the same voice + visual discipline
- Attend seasonal photographic shoots + be the energetic social aficionado covering it all

WHAT WE SEEK

Being the right candidate is more than simply ticking boxes. Sure, we’re looking for skills, but we’re also seeking the right cultural fit. If you think you’ve got what it takes + don’t match all facets of the below criteria, we’d welcome a chat.

- 2+ years' experience in a social media, content or community role — fashion, accessories or beauty retail preferred
- Professional experience with Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn
- Proven ability to shoot + edit content solo, end-to-end
- Comfort in front of and behind the camera
- Experience with PPC preferred but not essential
- Experience with Shopify preferred
- Strong copywriting skills + an ear for brand tone of voice
- Working knowledge of CapCut + Canva (or similar)
- A genuine interest in fashion, sustainable materials + the design-led accessories space.
- An eye (and ear) for compelling + unique content.

- Salary commensurate with experience, $75-85K range.
