The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Support Workers to join our friendly team!
n
Employment Type:Multiple opportunities available- full time and part time
n
Remuneration:$27.55 per hour
n
This position involves driving the Allowah vehicle to take our clients on community outings. This van can be driven on a standard car licence.

- Learn New Skills: Support Workers provide disability support including NDIS and in-house support within Allowah, they facilitate leisure activities, drive clients to appointments and activities and provide daily care.
n
- Training: Comprehensive training is provided from Day 1. This includes induction through to on-the-job support.

Guidance from the House Manager and the Support Services Coordinator enables skill development and facilitates understanding of how optimal client care is delivered.

If successful, you will need to obtain the following prior to commencement:
n
n
- Working with Children Check
n
- NDIS Workers Check
n
- Police Check (within the last 12 months)
n
- NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to drive clients in the Allowah vehicle
n
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
n
- CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
n
n
Qualifications & experience
n
n
- Experience in disability support, working with children or young people with special needs and/or chronic illness or in education including early childhood
n
- A recognised qualification such as a Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability or Bachelor of Social Work
n
n
