We are currently seeking a Maintenance / Fitter Assistant to join a busy food production facility in Dandenong .

This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded, switched on and reliable , with an interest in maintenance and working around machinery.

About the Role

You will work alongside the maintenance team, assisting with general maintenance of machinery and equipment throughout the site.

- Assisting with maintenance on production machinery
- Using hand tools for general maintenance tasks
- Assisting maintenance tradespeople where required
- Carrying out small repairs and maintenance tasks around the siteGeneral site maintenance and upkeep
- Supporting the production team as required
- Following workplace health and safety procedures

About You





You do not need to be trade qualified for this role.

- Mechanically minded
- Switched on and able to learn quickly
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Practical and hands-on
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Willing to get stuck in and assist wherever required
- Forklift licence preferred

Previous maintenance, mechanical, production or hands-on experience will be highly regarded, but the right attitude and mechanical aptitude are more important.
