Job Description

MedGym Localis seeking an experienced and passionate Exercise Physiologist for an established clinic/ medical gym in Mortlake. This role is within an established Medgym facility working closely with existing medical centres, health clubs, pilates studios and physiotherapist.

The position will involve development, implementation and evaluation of chronic disease and musculoskeletal programs that are delivered on a one to one and small group basis. The role will require the ability to work with a diverse range of ages and health status.

The Ideal Candidate Will Display The Following Characteristics

n

- Be motivated and Passionate
n
- Have experience in clinical assessment and programming for a diverse range of chronic diseases
n




- Have the ability to work independently along with and lead a team of Exercise Physiologists
n
- Liase directly with allied health professionals including GP's and practice managers.
n
- Highly developed skills in assessments &report; writing
n
- Robust practical skills in program development and delivery.
n
- Experience in working with General populations will also be an advantage.
n

Thisis a Part Time role with flexible and consistent hours. There is an opportunity for the role to progress to full time for the successful candidate.
