We're looking for a Credit Analyst who owns the full credit cycle — end to end. That means you're across it from the moment an application lands on your desk to the day it settles (and beyond). You'll work closely with originators, funders, valuers, and solicitors, and you'll have the autonomy to make considered, well-reasoned lending decisions.
This is a hands-on role in a business that's scaling, so there's real chance to grow your career.
The role:
- Assess loan applications end to end — income verification, DTI ratios, employment stability, security risk, and full documentation review
- Structure and process loan applications in line with funder requirements, LMI criteria, Sintex guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Manage all loan variations and increases from initial assessment through to instruction and settlement
- Request and assess property valuations; evaluate security risks
- Identify lending risks early and recommend practical mitigation strategies
- Prepare and dispatch correspondence across all loan programmes
What You Need:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Credit Analyst within residential lending
- Solid working knowledge of: NCCP, AML/CTF, Privacy Act, Corporations Act, and PPSA
- Strong financial analysis skills — you can read a set of financials and know what questions to ask
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Clear, confident communicator — written and verbal
- You're collaborative but can work independently; you don't need to be micromanaged
