Founded in 1983, Swan Christian College is a co-educationalChristian school in Swan Valley, educating around 1,600 studentsfrom Kindergarten to Year 12. The College focuses on developingcharacter and academic excellence with Christ-centred educationthat nurtures the spiritual, academic, emotional, and social growthof every student.

We are seeking a dedicated and encouraging Head ofWellbeing to join our Senior School team in afull-time, permanent role commencing 1January 2027. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor the student Wellbeing program for Years 7-12, fosteringpositive relationships and behaviour in students.
n
This is not just a role, it’s a sacred chance to lead,support and administrate with purpose and conviction, sowing seedsof faith and learning that will shape student lives foreternity.
Key Responsibilitiesn
n
- Provide strategic leadership in wellbeing, drivinginnovation, operational excellence, and projects aligned withthe College’s vision and goals.
n
- Lead and foster a positive wellbeing culture bystrengthening staff, student and parent partnerships, andoverseeing wellbeing, relationships and behaviour programs forYears 7-12.
n
- Lead and coordinate Senior School wellbeing programs,student support services, staff development, key events, andwellbeing-related administration.
n
- Support and foster a whole-school wellbeing culture throughstudent leadership, wellbeing programs, service learning,pastoral support, and student events.
n
- Coordinate student behaviour and attendance management,Wellbeing policy development, student administration, and otherduties as required.
n
Selection Criteria Essentialn n
- Have a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and bean active member of a Christian Church.
n
- Accept the Association’s Statement of Faith, FoundationalStatements of Belief and educational objectives and be living alifestyle consistent with these statements.
n
- To demonstrate an active, cooperative and enthusiasticinvolvement within the spiritual, academic, sporting, culturaland social dimensions of college life.
n
- To be a supportive team member of the College’s teachingfraternity.

- Holds a valid TRBWA registration and Working with ChildrenCheck.
n
