An exciting position exists for an emerging or experienced Business Development Executive, who has a proven history in metal fabrication and engineering within a workshop environment, including CNC and Laser.

The successful candidate will be trade qualified in fabrication or related field such as fitting and turning.

You will report directly to the Sales and Operations Manager.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Creating Business Development Plans with future forecasting a priority
- Cold Calling potential clients and working towards a positive working relationships
- Identifying new markets and other potential avenues for existing capabilities in the workshop
- Maintaining professional presentation and communication levels with all stakeholders
- Work towards achieving KPI's and Targets set by Management and your own forecasting
- Enabling the business to succeed through your own success on the road
- Travelling within the local region in order to secure new work, and service existing clients
- Provide expert direction to clients and our business based on your experience and the needs of the client
- Work closely with our estimating and production team to service existing and new clients to maintain a consistent pipeline of work.
- Offer technical engineering support,



advice and solutions with robust negotiation skills.
- Attend Industry Networking & Events where applicable.

What you'll need to succeed:

To succeed in this role, you MUST have estimating, sales, and engineering manufacturing Industry experience. Also,

- Current driver's license
- Metal Trade Qualification
- High Level of innovation and motivation
- Be able to work autonomously
- Function strongly within an efficient and driven team
- Networking Skills
