Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect with a robust background in JavaGUI/SWING to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in software architecture and design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality enterprise solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align technology with business goals and drive innovation within the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement enterprise-level architecture solutions that meet business requirements and enhance system performance.
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
n
- Lead the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.
n
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
n




- Analyze and improve existing systems and processes to optimize performance and scalability.
n
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
n
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong expertise in JavaGUI/SWING development and architecture.
n
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
n
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with cloud architecture and services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
n
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
n
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
n
- Experience in leading large-scale enterprise projects from conception to delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
n
- 15+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with a focus on enterprise solutions.
n
- Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are a plus.
