We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team at the Baralaba Mine, located 150km west of Rockhampton. We’re looking for committed, reliable and focused people with a solid work ethic, positive attitude and safety-first approach who demonstrate Golding’s culture of care, dignity and respect for their colleagues, equipment and the environment. Key Role Tasks

Trouble shooting and diagnosis of equipment faults

Disassembly and assembly of machinery and components

Routine servicing of all equipment both site workshop and field based





Complete all maintenance administration requirements in a timely and legible manner

Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings

Participate in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Work Method Statement Reviews

Role Requirements

Trade Qualifications (Australian Recognised)

Current Drivers Licence

Current Standard 11

Ability to pass Coal Board Medical, Functional Capacity Assessment and Drug & Alcohol screen

Experience with Komatsu Excavators, Dozers and Electric Dump Trucks highly regarded

Demonstrated ability in applying the site safety systems requirements

Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour

Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry will be highly regarded

Liebherr excavator experience highly regarded

7/7 rotating day/night roster (Wednesday to Tuesday)
