About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the parts operations in Mount Isa, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient procurement, strong customer service, and a safe, organised parts environment.

Reporting directly to the Mount Isa Branch Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining accurate stock levels across parts, consumables, and critical spares
- Managing stock ordering cycles and coordinating timely procurement with suppliers
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and OEMs to support service levels
- Ensuring parts availability for workshop, field service, and customer requirements
- Supervising, mentoring, training, and onboarding Parts Interpreters and Storepersons
- Maintaining safe parts handling, storage, transport, and disposal practices
- Identifying opportunities to improve stock flow, ordering, receiving, storage, and reporting

About the Employer

Our client is an established heavy earthmoving equipment business specialising in equipment rental, servicing, and parts supply across North Queensland.



With over 15 years of industry experience and operations in Mount Isa and Townsville, they are supported by experienced diesel fitters, field service technicians, and support teams.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

- 3-5 years of experience in a parts or warehouse supervisory role
- Experience using parts distribution or inventory software such as Unleashed
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills and confidence working with inventory systems
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and support team members
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, Warehouse, stores, or logistics qualifications are preferred, while knowledge of mining, heavy equipment, or industrial parts will be highly advantageous.
