7 HORSES ENTERPRISES PTY LTD Responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and maintaining the organisation’s ICT security systems and controls to protect networks, systems, applications and information from cyber security threats, unauthorised access and data breaches. The role will assess security risks and vulnerabilities, implement appropriate security measures, monitor ICT environments, investigate security incidents and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organisation’s cyber security framework. Task & responsibilities Analyse and assess ICT systems, networks and infrastructure to identify security risks, vulnerabilities and potential threats. Design and implement ICT security controls to protect networks, systems, applications and organisational information. Monitor network traffic, system activities, security logs and alerts to detect suspicious or unauthorised activities.

Investigate cyber security incidents, attempted intrusions, malware events and potential security breaches. Conduct vulnerability assessments and security testing of ICT systems and network infrastructure. Identify security weaknesses and recommend appropriate remediation and risk mitigation measures.

Implement and maintain user access controls, permissions and authentication requirements across ICT systems. Review privileged access and user accounts to ensure access remains appropriate and secure. Develop, implement and maintain ICT security policies, procedures, standards and operational guidelines.

Assist in developing and maintaining cyber security incident response procedures and escalation processes. Respond to security incidents and coordinate appropriate containment, investigation, recovery and remediation activities. Monitor emerging cyber security threats,



vulnerabilities and attack methods that may affect the organisation.

Recommend and implement preventative security measures based on identified and emerging cyber threats. Perform security reviews of new and existing ICT systems, applications and technology solutions. Assist with security requirements relating to data protection, backup systems, disaster recovery and business continuity.

Maintain accurate records of security incidents, risk assessments, vulnerabilities, system configurations and remediation activities. Prepare security reports and provide recommendations to management regarding identified ICT risks and required improvements. Provide technical advice and guidance to staff regarding information security, system access and cyber security practices.

Configure and monitor ICT security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection and access controls. Liaise with internal teams, technology providers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure ICT security requirements are appropriately implemented and maintained.

Qualification & experience

- Relevant AQF Bachelor degree or higher in related field
- Minimun three (3) years of experience in related field.
