State Account Manager - Pharmacy - Queensland

This role involves managing pharmacy accounts and driving sales growth across assigned territories. You will implement promotional programs, manage relationships with State Pharmacy Banner groups and independent pharmacies, and ensure compliance with trading terms. The position requires optimising shelf management and product displays to maximise sales and in-store presence.

Key responsibilities

Implement account promotional programs to achieve budgeted sales targets

Manage accounts of State Pharmacy Banner groups and ensure compliance to trading terms

Develop plans to drive sales growth in bannered accounts and independent pharmacy across assigned territory

Build strong and meaningful business partnerships

Ensure call rate and call frequency targets are met to optimise results in store

Ensure promotional activity in each account is executed successfully with mutual return on investment

Ensure all new lines are placed in accordance with Speed To Market guidelines





Continually seek distribution opportunities with the Beiersdorf range at field level

Work at store level to ensure all Beiersdorf products are presented to maximise shelf space and position according to Marketing Guidelines

Provide timely and accurate field intel to the National Field Manager and accurate reporting as required

About you

Tertiary qualification preferred but not essential and/or two years minimum relevant experience in a Pharmacy/FMCG sales workplace

Experience within retail pharmacy will also be considered

Excellent analytical and negotiation skills

Consultative selling style

Solution based approach with a sense of urgency

Outstanding people and relationship building skills

Ability to work within a team environment as well as a self starter

Act with honesty and integrity at all times and uphold company values in all dealings
