Active Support Australia is a registered NDIS service provider which enables people with disabilities to take control of their health and wellbeing, by helping them achieve their goals.
n Active Support Australia is seeking motivated support workers to work across shifts that can include weekends.

The available shifts are

Bundall QLD 4217

n

9am to 5pm - Monday to Sunday

n

5pm to 9am - Monday to Sunday (Inactive Sleepover)

n

9am to 5pm - Monday to Sunday

n

5pm to 9am - Monday to Sunday (Inactive Sleepover)

n

The Burleigh Heads QLD 4220

n

10am to 3pm - Monday to Friday

n

The Role

n

Provide compassionate high-quality care.

Assistance with medication

n

Assistance with psychosocial support, appointments, and domestic tasks such as cleaning and cooking.

n

Personal Care.

n

Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.

n

Community access activities.

n

Fully Covid-19 Vaccinated as per QLD Government Regulations.

n

Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.

n

Current Working with Children Blue Card.

n

Current and satisfactory Criminal History Check or a National Police Certificate (or willing to obtain).

n

Current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check.

n

NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate (visitNDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (ndiscommission.gov.au)to access this free module). At completion of the course, you will be provided with a certificate of completion which you can forward to****@activesupportautralia.com.au

n

Experience with any of the following – Mental Health, Dysphagia Management, Medication Management.

n

Manual Handling Experience (Hoist)

n

A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent disability related qualifications.

n

Available for day and night shifts.

n

Experience in doing personal care

n

Diabetes management
