We are currently seeking an experienced and trade-qualifiedMaintenance Fitterto join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ingleburn. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday on day shift. You’ll be part of a supportive maintenance team responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment operating safely and efficiently.

The Role As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for both preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs across a range of industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance across production equipment.
- Respond to machinery breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults.
- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Complete mechanical repairs, servicing and component replacements.
- Assist with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
- Identify potential equipment issues and implement preventative solutions.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment.




- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.

What We're Looking For

- Australian-recognisedMechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner trade qualification.
- Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong breakdown and preventative maintenance experience.
- Excellent mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to confidently use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Robust mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.

Desirable

- Forklift licence.
- Experience working with industrial production machinery.
