Stores / Parts Interpreter Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and career-driven Stores / Parts Interpreter Trainee to join our team on a full-time basis.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in parts interpreting and supply chain operations. You will receive practical, hands-on training while supporting our Parts Manager and workshop team with parts, inventory, deliveries and stores operations.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with identifying and interpreting parts required by the workshop and customers.

- Respond to internal parts enquiries and source the correct parts and components.

- Support the Parts Manager with parts administration, stock coordination and general stores requirements.

- Liaise with the workshop team to ensure parts are available when required.

- Accurately pick and pack parts for workshop jobs and customer orders.

- Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.

- Complete metropolitan parts runs, deliveries and collections using a company vehicle.

- Conduct regular stocktakes and investigate inventory discrepancies.

- Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems.

- Monitor workshop consumables and arrange replenishment as required.

- Keep the stores area clean, organised and safe.

- Safely operate a forklift when required.

- Develop your knowledge of mobile lifting equipment, components and supply chain operations.

About you





Previous Parts Interpreter experience is not required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, initiative and genuine desire to learn.

- A current driver’s licence, with a manual licence preferred.

- A current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
