About TMPAC
Tarlka Matuwa Piarku Aboriginal Corporation (TMPAC) is the Prescribed Body Corporate (PBC) representing the Martu Traditional Owners. About the Role
TMPAC is seeking a highly professional and motivated Personal Assistant to the General Manager to provide confidential, high-level executive and administrative support.
This pivotal role works closely with the General Manager, Board Directors, senior staff, and external stakeholders to ensure the effective operation of the organisation. The successful applicant will be an organised and proactive professional with exceptional communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive support to the General Manager, including diary, email, and calendar management.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, reports, briefing papers, and presentations.
- Manage travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics.
- Assist with Board and committee administration, including meeting coordination and governance documentation.
- Maintain confidential records and correspondence.
- Liaise with stakeholders, community members, government agencies, consultants, and partners on behalf of the General Manager.
- Support organisational projects and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor action items and follow up on key tasks and deadlines.
- Assist with general administration and office coordination as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or senior administrative support role.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence using a range of business systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A current driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
Desirable
- Experience working within an Aboriginal organisation, not-for-profit, or governance environment.
- An understanding of Aboriginal culture and communities.
- Experience supporting Boards, committees, or executive leadership teams.
