CASUAL DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS, ENs, AINs & NURSING STUDENTS – IMMEDIATE START Franklin Family Support Services (FFSS) is seeking compassionate, enthusiastic and experienced support staff to join the team supporting a bright, active and engaging young man living in Cannon Hill, QLD.

About the Role

n

You will provide person-centred support including:

n

n
- Personal care and assistance with daily living
n
- Hoisting and manual handling
n
- PEG feeding and mealtime support
n
- Medication assistance within your scope of practice
n
- Active community access and engagement
n
- Supporting independence while encouraging participation in meaningful activities
n
- Accurate documentation and communication with the wider support team
n

n

We're Looking For People Who Have

n

n
- Experience supporting participants with complex physical disabilities and high support needs
n
- Confidence with hoisting, transfers, PEG feeding and personal care
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
n
- A positive,



proactive and enthusiastic attitude
n
- The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
n

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
n
- Current First Aid & CPR
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Availability across a 24/7 roster, including weekends, active nights and sleepovers
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Enrolled Nurses (ENs)
n
- Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
n
- Nursing students
n
- Previous experience supporting participants with complex physical disabilities
n
