About therole:

The Department of Anaesthesia, Pain and Perioperative Medicine is part of the Division of Surgery, Endoscopy and Anaesthesia Services. The Department is responsible for the provision of perioperative services for both planned and emergency surgical procedures and supports a broad range of interventional medical specialties.

Keyresponsibilities:

- Provide high-quality anaesthetic care across a wide range of surgical and medical specialties.
- Supervise and support junior medical staff and contribute to their education.
- Participate in perioperative planning, patient optimisation, and clinical documentation.
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and departmental planning.
- Strong clinical expertise in anaesthesia and collaborative team approach.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
