The Centre for Digestive Diseases (CDD) is a private day procedure hospital and medical practice located in the Inner West of Sydney with good access to public transport. The Centre takes great pride in its highly regarded specialist clinical staff, cutting-edge technology and novel treatments. It has distinguished itself locally and internationally as a unique medical institution with a strong research emphasis offering novel approaches in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal (GI) conditions.

We are seeking an Endoscopy Cleaning Technician or CSSD Technicianto joinourfantastic endoscopy team at the Centre for Digestive Diseases. As an endoscopy cleaning technician, you will become an integral member of our clinic and be responsible for the cleaning, processing and management of endoscopes, instruments and the automated scope washing systems.

Qualifications

n
- Knowledge of AS/NZ standards 5369 2023, GENCA
n




- Strong attention to detail and able to exercise good judgment and communication skills
n
- Excellent communication skills,fluency in written and spoken English
n
- Must be able to work independently and work well in teams
n
- Apassion for working as part ofa busy team
n
- Demonstrated commitment to the continued quality improvement and best practice principles
n
- Relevant Endoscopy, Day Surgery experience (Desirable)
n
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
n
- Excellent communication skills and outstanding customer service
n

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

- You will be using a full range of body motion, including handling and lifting equipment, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

- You will have the stamina to be standing for long periods of time and frequent walking.

- You must be able to work under fast-paced conditions
n
- You can work safely in a patient care environment and follow OSHA and safety requirements.
