Assistant Manager — The Cupping Room, Canberra

The Cupping Room is looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead our daily operations and join an experienced, passionate leadership team.

n

We're a day/brunch café representing the ONA Coffee brand, and we're after someone who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, genuinely cares about customer service, and brings the right energy to the floor every day.

What you'll do:

n

- Support the Venue Manager in running day-to-day operations
n
- lead and motivate the floor team during service
n
- help maintain our standards for coffee, food, and hospitality
n
- step up to make decisions when things get busy.
n

What we're looking for:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in hospitality or café settings
n
- a genuine passion for coffee and customer experience
n
- strong leadership skills with the ability to stay calm and lead by example under pressure
n
- someone who brings great energy and works well as part of a team.
