Storeman – Bibra Lake Workshop | Other clients also North of the River

CrewSELECT is currently seeking an experienced Storeman to join a busy switchboard manufacturing workshop based in Bibra Lake. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on candidate looking to secure long-term employment within a well-established workshop environment.

About the Role

Working within a switchboard workshop, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, moving equipment and materials throughout the workshop, assisting with stock control, and supporting the Workshop Leading Hand with day-to-day operations.

This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Unloading deliveries using a forklift
- Checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets
- Organising and putting away stock and materials
- Packing, wrapping, and preparing switchboards for collection and transport
- Operating gantry cranes to move switchboards throughout the workshop
- Assisting the Workshop Leading Hand with daily workshop duties




- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with material control
- Following up overdue materials and liaising with purchasing when required
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and organisation
- Assisting with general workshop and yard duties as required

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience working in a storeman or workshop support role
- Current Forklift Licence essential
- Gantry Crane experience essential
- Dogman or Gantry Crane ticket highly regarded
- Ability to work safely within an industrial workshop environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Reliable work ethic and ability to work within a team

- Temp to Perm opportunity
- $35 – $40/hr depending on experience
- 40-hour week with 9-day fortnight
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 3:00pm
- Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
