About the Role
Working with the WA Scaffold Team at our Bibra Lake branch, you will play a key role in our rapidly growing business. This exciting opportunity will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored scaffolding solutions across a diverse range of industries, including building and construction, maintenance, insurance, government, and more.
As a Scaffold Estimator, you will be an integral part of our WA team, responsible for supporting business growth by assessing customer requirements, preparing accurate estimates, and providing exceptional service. Your ability to deliver practical solutions and build lasting relationships will be essential to achieving sales targets and continued branch success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Manage existing customer accounts, ensuring their needs are consistently met through solution-focused sales strategies.
- Prepare accurate and competitive project quotations.
- Develop detailed material lists and work packs for seamless handover to the operations team.
- Promote Oldfields Scaffolding’s products, services, and capabilities throughout the WA market.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
- Work with the WA State Manager to achieve sales targets, monitor performance, and meet key business objectives.
About You
We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Estimator who is passionate about delivering quality outcomes and building strong customer relationships.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in scaffold sales, estimating, or a similar role within the scaffolding industry.
- Strong industry contacts and relationships within the WA building and construction sector (preferrable not essential).
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- A Scaffold ticket.
- The ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
- Strong estimating skills, with the ability to prepare accurate quotes and maintain required margins.
- Experience developing work packs and detailed material lists.
- A sound understanding of scaffold WHS regulations and compliance requirements.
- A results-driven approach with the ability to achieve sales targets and manage forecasts.
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
