At Adelaide Paringa Motel we currently have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to come on board and cover the managers days off for an immediate start.

The hours are work are 9am - 8pm 3 days a week. Please note YOU MUST be available to stay overnight on these 3 days and take the after hours phone

Job Description

To create a memorable quest experience through excellent customer service; anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations and delivering prompt and efficient service in a friendly and skilled manner.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Ensure the smooth and professional running of the check in/check out procedure

- Ensure smooth running of the hotel operations.

- Handle telephone calls, guest requests and reservations in a timely and proficient manner

- Communicate with guests in an open, friendly, respectful and positive manner

- Be familiar with all hotel services, room types and rates and demonstrate full product knowledge





- Where possible and appropriate upsell room categories to maximise hotel revenue

- Complete front office duties, tasks and procedures in line with company policies and procedures and as directed by Management

- Resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.

- Ensure correct and accurate float balance and cash and credit transactions are recorded at the end of each shift

Qualifications & Requirement's

- Experience in a reception position in similar role/industry

- Experienced in using RMS highly regarded

- Great with people and ability to build rapport easily

- Available for 3 x shifts 9am - 8pm and to stay overnight

- Passionate and motivated to succeed
