We are currently seeking an experienced Technician to service, repair Honda & Yanmar engines and pressure cleaner pumps

About the role

Due to continued business growth Pumps Australia is currently seeking a Full-Time Workshop Technician (or equivalent) to work in a team setting and reporting to our Workshop Manager. The successful candidate will be required to repair and service Honda, Kohler, and Yanmar Engines – both Petrol and Diesel, which power our pressure cleaners and transfer pump units, operating within a cool, air-conditioned workshop.

Skills and experience

The suitable candidate will be required to work in a team operation of all workshop activities including;

- Working to production and service work deadlines

- Assembly of pumps and pressure cleaners to electric motors as well as Honda & Yanmar engines





- Servicing of various products

- Assist in the assembly of custom builds and trailer units

- Fault finding of defective equipment

- Interaction with customers

- Monitoring and control of consumables

- Maintaining quality & safety standards

- Completion of daily time sheets

The applicant will also need to possess the following skills and knowledge to be considered for this position;

- Small engine experience required

- Relevant qualifications an advantage

- Excellent hand-fitting skills

- Team player

- Effective communication skills

- Customer service orientated

- Highly self-motivated

- Practical person with common sense

- Fabrication skills desirable

- English speaking

Clean working conditions within Air-Conditioned workshop

Must reside in Western Australia

Position may suit an enthusiastic Motor Bike Mechanic
