The Role:
We are partnering with a well-known global organisation in the CBD that is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a 6-month contract with possibility for extension. This role will be ideal for someone who is immediately available and comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Assisting with payroll processes and related queries
- Daily reconciliation of sales, cost of sales
- Proven experience with month-end, general ledger and posting journal entries
- Processing and allocating payments, and performing bank reconciliations
- Assisting with ad-hoc accounting tasks as required
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Accountant
- Experience in a fast paced environment is necessary
- Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new ERP or finance systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator,
with the ability to liaise across finance and operational teams
- Must be immediately available and ready to start
