Kolbe Catholic College is seeking an cutting-edge and enthusiastic Materials Design & Technology Teacher to join our dynamic secondary learning community.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an educator who enjoys developing practical skills, fostering creativity and empowering students through hands-on learning experiences. Experience in Metalwork and Senior Secondary pathways will be highly regarded.

About the Role

You will:

- Teach Materials Design & Technology across Years 7-12.

- Deliver innovative practical and theory-based learning programs.

- Foster creativity, problem-solving and technical expertise.

- Maintain safe and engaging workshop learning environments.

- Contribute to the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the College.

- Support the mission and values of Catholic Education.

About You

You will demonstrate:

- Relevant teaching qualifications.

- Experience teaching Design & Technology subjects.

- Experience in Metalwork and Senior Secondary courses (highly regarded).

- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

- The ability to work collaboratively within a professional team.





- Capacity to teach Religious Education (advantageous but not essential).
