A vibrant, independent and creative 38-year-old woman living in Landsborough is looking for new female support workers to join her dedicated team. She is into healthy living, gardening, yoga and massage and enjoys spending time with her husband and their chocolate Labrador.
In this, role you’ll become part of a close-knit community committed to her long-term support. The team provides standard and / or high intensity supports across the week. Current workers have the option of providing one or both of these streams of support.
Applicants with high intensity support experience or nursing / allied health / medical backgrounds will be highly regarded, however experience is not essential. Full training will be provided for support workers with the right values, approach and a sincere commitment to the position.

The Role:
Standard support duties include:
- Personal care, hoist transfers, medication prompts/assistance (as trained)
- Meal preparation + domestic household tasks (cleaning, laundry, routines)
- Community access (appointments, errands, social outings)
- Shift documentation and accurate notes
High intensity support duties include everything above, plus:
- Dysphagia + mealtime safety for eating, drinking and medications (as trained)
- Bowel care + wound care under direction of the team's RN
- Leading 2:1 personal care supports (showering, toileting, dressing)
- Respiratory support and NIV
* Training + competency sign-off supported for the right candidate *
Shifts:
- Mondays - 7am -10am
- Tuesdays – 3pm / 5pm -11pm (+ sleepover if available)
- Wednesdays – 3pm / 5-11pm (+ sleepover if available)
- Thursdays - 7am - 11am
- Thursdays – 3pm / 5pm - 11pm (+ sleepover if available)
- Fridays - 7am - 12pm
- Fridays – 3pm / 5pm - 11pm (+ sleepover if available)
- Saturdays - 7am - 1:30pm
- Saturdays – 3pm / 5pm - 11pm (+ sleepover if available)
- Sundays - 7am - 1:30pm
*30 hours per week available*
Training Pay Rates (first 3 months):
- Daytime - $36 per hour
- Afternoon - $38
- Night - $39 per hour
- Saturday - $54 per hour
- Sunday - $72 per hour
- Public Holidays - $90 per hour
- Sleepover allowance $125 per shift
* Pay rates subject to increase after training period *
* Increases commensurate to skills, experience and qualifications *

Essential Requirements:
- Female
- Non-Smoker
- Comfortable working around assistancve dog
- Mental and physical resilience to handle the high demands of the role
- Open Driver’s license and own vehicle with insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening / Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR (or willing to obtain)
Highly Regarded:
- High intensity support experience
- Nursing / Allied health / medical background
- Experience with hoisting and transfers
- Certificate III or IV in Disability / Individual Support / Community Services
