We are partnering with a well-established food manufacturer that produces a diverse range of products supplied to retail, food service, and industrial customers across Australia and internationally. They now seek a Quality Manager in Sydney for their thriving team.

This role will suit a hands-on Quality Manager who enjoys working closely with operations and production teams, understands the demands of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and compliance.

About the Role

n

n
- Lead all aspects of quality assurance and compliance across the manufacturing process
n
- Work closely with production, R&D;, and technical teams to uphold food safety standards
n
- Oversee a small laboratory function including product testing and verification processes
n
- Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and traceability
n
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, communication, and teamwork across departments & ensure compliance with HACCP,



FSANZ requirements and relevant customer standards.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, ideally across ingredients, beverage, or packaged products
n
- Strong working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand Food Standards Authority (ANZFA) regulations
n
- Collaborative communicator who can build relationships and engage effectively across the business
n
- Practical, hands-on approach with genuine accountability for outcomes
n
- Ability to balance technical QA discipline with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
n
