We work with a whole range of major companies across Melbourne to install, upgrade, or maintain their Industrial doors – and we're looking for a superstar Storeperson/Customer Experience Officer to join our team!

Here's what you'll be doing:

n

Inventory Management including:

n

n
- Receiving, inspecting and recording incoming stock and materials.
n
- Ensure that all approved and scheduled jobs have the appropriate stock allocated
n
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
n
- Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts and audits
n
- Update inventory management systems and ensure data accuracy
n
- Organize and maintain storage areas for easy access and safety compliance
n
- Identify and report damaged or missing items
n
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
n
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational target
n
- Processing / management of supplier invoices
n
- Creation / management of purchase orders
n
- Assist with compliance documentation
n
- Supporting the Operations Manager with various day-to-day duties
n
- Meetings with management team to update on progress and optimise service/efficiency
n

Required Experience/Knowledge:

n

n
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory control preferred
n
- Background working in work type trade business (highly favourable)
n
- Experience using Servicem8 or similar tradie job mgt. software (highly favourable)
n
- High level communication (written/verbal), customer service, and interpersonal skills
n
- Highly motivated with solid attention to detail
n
- Exceptional organisation skills and ability to multi-task
n
- Can follow directions while also taking initiative to make things better
n
- Positive attitude and a strong team player that is polite, courteous, and friendly
n
- Excellent organisation, problem solving, and time management skills
n
- Ability to pick up new skills quickly and maintain accurate information
n
- Commitment to the efficient operations of a trade service business
n
- Willingness to take on more responsibility as the business grows
n
- Confident in asking questions about how things are done + enjoy 'getting things done'
n
- Can pivot and adapt when plans change
n
