We’re looking for a positive, capable Finance & Accounts Officer to join the Padman team in Strathmerton.

This is not a role where every day looks the same.

One minute you might be working through accounts payable, the next sorting out a customer account, processing payroll, helping with month-end or chasing down something that just doesn’t quite add up.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, likes a challenge and takes pride in getting things sorted.

What you’ll get involved in

This is a broad, hands-on finance role, including:

- Accounts payable and supplier invoices

- Accounts receivable and customer payments

- Payroll processing and employee administration

- Bank and credit card reconciliations

- General ledger reconciliations

- Assisting with month-end





- Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple businesses

- Liaising with suppliers, customers and the wider Padman team

- Sorting out account queries and discrepancies

- Helping improve finance systems and processes

- Jumping in and helping wherever needed

There’s plenty of variety, plenty to learn and always something happening.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with solid accounts experience, but personality and attitude are just as important.

You’ll ideally be someone who:

- Has around 5+ years of accounts, bookkeeping or finance experience

- Understands accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Proven experience with Payroll including timesheets integration

- Experienced in general ledger reconciliations and month-end tasks

- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

- Is confident learning new accounting and payroll systems

- Enjoys solving problems rather than passing them on

- Can manage their own workload and priorities

- Has a positive, can-do attitude

- Is comfortable picking up the phone and talking to customers or suppliers

- Likes working as part of a team

- Isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when things get busy

Experience with SAP,



Accentis or Employment Hero is highly regarded but it’s not essential.
