Casual Medical Receptionist Wanted – Join Our Friendly Team!

We’re looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy medical environment, is great with patients and is happy to be flexible when our team needs a helping hand.

About you

Ideally, you will:

- Have previous medical reception experience

- Have experience using Best Practice software

- Be available to work Fridays.

- Be flexible with working hours and days

- Be available to cover staff sick leave, annual leave and unexpected absences at short notice

- Be reliable, organised and have a excellent work ethic

- Have excellent communication and customer service skills

- Be confident and friendly when dealing with patients both face-to-face and over the phone

- Be able to work well as part of a team, while also being comfortable working independently

- Be able to remain calm and professional in a busy medical environment

About the role

The role will involve all aspects of medical reception, including answering phones, making appointments, welcoming patients, patient check-in and check-out, processing payments, scanning and filing,



and assisting our doctors and practice team.

We are a friendly, supportive and close-knit medical centre , and finding someone who is the right fit for our team is really significant to us.

This is a casual position , so flexibility is essential. We are particularly looking for someone who can help us out when staff are away or unexpectedly unable to attend work, sometimes with short notice .

Medical reception experience, Best Practice experience and Friday availability are essential for this role.
