Join our Taubmans team in Fyshwick and help tradies, painters and DIY customers get the products and advice they need to get the job done.

As a Sales Assistant , you'll build customer relationships, tint paint, prepare orders and help keep the store running smoothly.

No paint experience? No problem.

If you've worked in retail, hospitality, customer service, trade supply or another hands-on environment, we'll provide all the training you need.

The setup

- Full-time permanent position (38 hours per week)

- Monday to Friday roster between 7am and 5pm

- Full product and systems training provided

- Manual handling of products (up to 32kg)

How you'll make an impact

Every day, you'll help create a great experience for customers while keeping the store organised, efficient and ready to support local projects.

You'll:

- Welcome and assist customers with friendly, knowledgeable service

- Build relationships with trade and retail customers

- Tint and mix paint products to customer requirements

- Support colour matching and product recommendations

- Prepare and organise orders for collection and delivery

- Help maintain stock levels and merchandise displays

- Support the Store Manager and wider team in achieving store goals

- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace

- Make local deliveries when required using the company vehicle

How you'll thrive

Paint experience isn't essential. We're more interested in people who bring a positive attitude, enjoy working with customers and are happy to get hands-on when needed.

To thrive in this role, you'll:

- Enjoy building relationships and delivering great customer service

- Be eager to learn new skills and develop product knowledge





- Work well as part of a close-knit team

- Be comfortable with manual handling, including lifting paint tins, moving stock and loading deliveries

- Be comfortable on your feet throughout the day in a busy environment

- Hold a current driver's licence

- Hold a forklift licence or be willing to obtain one (advantageous)
